13 players and 2 coaches will be selected to enter college football's ultimate shrine on May 1, 2008.

At least three new inductees from the 2008 College Football Hall of Fame class (selected from a ballot of 75 All-America players and 8 elite coaches) will join National Football Foundation President & CEO Steve Hatchell for the announcement. ESPNEWS will televise the announcement live with ESPN Studio Host Dari Nowkhah in the field as the emcee and ESPN's Anish Shroff hosting in the studio.
