'LSU has a heck of a defense. They are all fast and they are big and
physical on their defensive line. They can all run. Our guys did a good
job. We did some good things, it just wasn't enough.'

'It's obviously tough, especially a big game like this. I thought
we did enough. They are a heck of a team. You have to expect that. It
was a tough loss and hopefully we will learn from it and come back next
week.'
On the offense's play'
'I thought we did some good things tonight, especially in this
atmosphere and this type of game. We are still getting better and I
think we will continue to do that. Every game we should get better.'

'We actually had something coming from the left side but it ended up
getting flushed out. I tried to make a play and it just wasn't quite
enough.'

'We were a lot better than we did last week. The quarterbacks put a
lot more trust in the receivers to make plays. We made some plays, but
unfortunately we didn't make enough plays and we are just going to
come out tomorrow and work harder in practice. We have another big game
coming up next week (Tennessee).'
On improvements for next week'
'We need to work on just finishing. We need to capitalize on all the
little things. We had too many third-and-twos that we didn't convert.
I felt like that hurt us at the beginning of the game. We had a good
drive going and ended up getting a third and two, and we didn't
convert it. I think we need to work on converting third downs a lot
more.'

'It was just a regular zone to the right. The lineman came out good
and Eric Smith had a good block; it was basically just a walk in.'
On LSU being able to stop the run'
'LSU has a great defense. They are one of the best defenses we will
face all year. We just have to finish games, that's all it comes down
to.'

'I just need to work on getting better, doing the little things and
learning how to finish.'
